Online event SEGE – Woman20 "Impact of W20 in the lives of European Women"

SEGE – Greek Association of Women Entrepreneurs and Woman 20 (W20) Italian Presidency are co-organizing an official event under the W20 Initiative, a G20 Engagement Group:

«Impact of W20 in the lives of European Women – Η επιρροή της W20 στις ζωές των γυναικών στην Ευρώπη»

The event will be organized on Wednesday, 23^rd of June 2021, 13:00 – 16:00 (CET time) and will be broadcasted through LiveStreaming.

Organizers 

SEGE – Greek Association of Women Entrepreneurs is a non-profit making organization and regards women engaged in business activities in Greece. Empowerment for business and interpersonal development of each woman, constitutes the central core of the SEGE philosophy and its purpose is to encourage youth entrepreneurship and to provide women entrepreneurs the environment to develop their businesses and themselves.

Women20 (W20) is the official G20 engagement group focused on gender equity. Its primary objective is to ensure that gender considerations are mainstreamed into G20 discussions and translate into the G20 Leaders’ Declaration as policies and commitments that foster gender equality and women’s economic empowerment.

Speakers & Agenda

Selected guests and prominent personalities of the domestic and the European political and business life will analyze current issues that concern every woman today. Opinions around gender equality in today’s society are going to star in the panels.

The discussion and the panels will be directed and coordinated by the journalists Mrs. Maria Nikoltsiou and Mrs. Elli Spyropoulou.

The event will give us the opportunity to discuss and analyze the impact of W20 in different topics (environment, labour, financial and entrepreneurship, digital and violence), as well as to disseminate the importance of gender equality and to listen to women who are playing such an important role in their country.

The event is organized under the auspices of General Secreteriat for Demography and Family Policy and Gender Equality – Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs and sponsored by OECON Group, OEPEKAMTH and the Traders Association of Thessaloniki.
